Welcome!
Ever wondered what can you do to better manage your stress, or better yet, to prevent it? You are in the right place! Welcome to The Neuroscience of Stress Course! 🤝🏻
We have certain reactions when we are under stress. These can be physical, emotional, mental, and behavioural. We all react differently to stress. By observing and understanding your reactions, you can develop your awareness, ‘catch’ yourself entering into distress, and be better prepared to positively respond and move out of distress.
Would it be helpful to find a 'recipe' for managing your stress? To take the time to build your resilience so that ‘when the going gets tough, you will be tough enough to get going’? Building resilience takes time, however it is a trainable skill, and it can be achieved with practice. It's easier if you use this stress management training to help you build your resilience!
This course offers a significant number of practices to build resilience. They are based on three separate pillars: Body, Mind and Environment. You get to see which practices work for you and which don't, and you are encouraged to choose some of them and transform them into long-term, stress-busting habits and routines.

Read MoreThe training brought a lot of value to me. It helped me understand my and my team's reactions to stress and find ideas for managing stress. It was also ideal for raising awareness of how our emotions are happening, the “why” behind specific situations, and how to identify them. For me, it was great to have a self-paced training that allowed me to “digest” the received information and do the assignments. I really recommend it to any person who wants to learn more about stress and how to help others cope with it. The warm voice of Magda and so many real-life examples during the videos brought the magic ingredients for me :) Thank you so much! Andra Stefanescu Trainer and Workshop Facilitator

Read MoreI took Magda Tabac's Neuroscience of Stress course needing to understand why my brain kicks into overdrive, beyond just coping strategies. I found her explanations of complex science – like the amygdala's alarm signals or the HPA axis function – clear and directly relevant to my own physical and mental responses. Finally grasping the biological 'why' was the biggest change for me; it makes stress feel less random and more manageable. I now understand how practical actions, like specific breathing techniques, aren't just abstract but actively target the neural pathways discussed in the course. If you want that clear, science-backed insight into your own stress without the fluff, I found this course effectively connects that understanding with actionable steps.
Read LessNo, you don’t! This stress management course is constructed for any level of previous knowledge on the subject. I take care to introduce all the topics in an easy to understand, engaging manner. I also share many examples of how the topics we study apply to our daily lives.
While I strongly recommend you do all the practices in the workbook, this is entirely up to you. However, these practices will help you in better understanding the content of the course and applying the learnings to your own life. Many useful insights arise this way.
The 'Simple Neuroscience: Neuroscience of Stress' training course is in an online pre-recorded format. This means that you can watch the lessons at any time, at your own pace, to match your schedule. You only need to login to your account and click on the RESUME button.
'The Neuroscience of Stress' is a very useful course in both the business environment and in your personal life. The examples I share during the course come from both areas. You will find elements that can serve your professional and your personal life in this course.
The course is meant to help you understand and better deal with almost all types of stress: chronic and acute, psychological, real or perceived stress (you'll find out all about the types of stress in the 4th Chapter: 'Our reaction to stress'). To summarise, this can mean for example: stress from work, stress from your personal relationships, stress caused by loss, grief, anxiety, fear... stress that takes place over long or shorts periods of time, and so on.
'The Neuroscience of Stress' course takes, on average, about eight hours to complete. Five hours are needed to go through all the video lessons and a minimum of three hours for the recommended practices. Some of these exercises I recommend you turn into positive, stress-busting long-term habits and routines to build and increase your resilience to stress.
Yes, you do! After you finish the course and mark all lessons and topics as complete, you will be offered a well-earned certificate. Feel free to share this on LinkedIn and on other social media websites.
